Your body is your first home.

find refuge in the house we built to nourish it

the practitioner

FOUNDED BY ALICIA SWINDLER MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC

I officially founded House of Nourish in 2025, but this vision has been living in me for much longer. After nearly a decade working in both nursing and advanced practice within the conventional medical system, I couldn’t ignore what I was seeing every day:

People were getting sicker.
Aging faster.
Struggling to conceive.
Living with symptoms they were told to ignore.

And yet—we’re supposedly more advanced than ever.

I kept asking myself: If we have the science, the data, and the technology... why are women still falling through the cracks?

The truth is, most healthcare environments have one thing in common: you don’t want to be there unless you absolutely have to. They're sterile, disconnected, and reactive. But what if we could change that? What if we could build a space that felt nourishing, grounding, and truly feminine—where prevention is the foundation, and personalization is the standard? That’s what House of Nourish was built to be.

A sanctuary—not four white walls.
A place where you’re seen as a whole woman, not a diagnosis.
A wellness experience rooted in science, but guided by intuition.

I created this space because women need more from their care. We need more answers, fewer quick fixes. We need less overwhelm, more clarity. And we need real, actionable data that shows us what’s happening on a cellular level—so we can create targeted, meaningful change.

This isn’t just about treating symptoms.
It’s about optimizing your healthspan.
It’s about helping you feel vibrant, clear, and connected—for life.

No protocol, lab result, or symptom exists in isolation. You deserve care that sees the full picture—your history, your hormones, your intuition, and your goals.

the FRAMEWORK

HEALING IS PERSONAL

PREVENTION IS POWERFUL

You are not a collection of separate diagnoses

YOUR CYCLE IS A VITAL SIGN

True wellness is proactive not reactive.
We shouldn’t wait for the breakdown to begin the healing.

Symptoms are often downstream effects of deeper imbalances. Instead of isolating problems, we look at how your gut, hormones, metabolism, immune system, and environment are working together—or working against you.

Your cycle is not chaos—it’s intelligence in motion.
When we work with your rhythm, healing becomes aligned and intuitive.

our approach

From advanced hormone panels to gut microbiome mapping and epigenetic testing, we use comprehensive data to get a full picture of what’s happening in your body at the cellular level.

we test don't guess

we look upstream

systems > symptoms

cyclical not linear

Instead of masking symptoms with a quick fix, We investigate the deeper causes—nutrient deficiencies, toxic load, hormonal dysregulation, inflammation, nervous system dysregulation—and how they’re all connected.

cyclical not linear

In functional medicine, we don’t isolate the gut from the brain, or hormones from mood. Your body works together, and so should your care.

cyclical not linear

As women, our bodies operate on a cycle—not a clock. Our protocols are designed to honor your hormonal shifts, your season of life, and the pace your body actually needs to heal.

From hormone panels and gut microbiome mapping to micronutrient and epigenetic testing, we gather real data to understand how your body is functioning at the cellular level. This gives us the insight to create a wellness plan that’s personalized, proactive, and rooted in what your body actually needs.

cyclical not linear

Most healthcare only treats what’s urgent or visible—what’s happening downstream. But symptoms like fatigue, cycle irregularities, gut issues, or weight changes don’t start there. They often begin much earlier, in places conventional labs don’t look.
We investigate the deeper drivers behind your symptoms—like blood sugar imbalances, cortisol dysregulation, gut permeability, chronic inflammation, detox overload, and cellular aging. Instead of treating symptoms in isolation, we trace them back to their source.

cyclical not linear

In functional medicine, we don’t isolate the gut from the brain, or hormones from mood. Your body is an ecosystem—interconnected, dynamic, and always in communication with itself. Symptoms are never random. They're often the last thing to appear after a cascade of imbalances within your body’s systems.
Because when we treat systems, not symptoms, you don’t just feel better temporarily—you heal more deeply, and more sustainably.

cyclical not linear

As women, our bodies operate on a cycle—not a clock. We ebb and flow through hormonal shifts, energy changes, and emotional rhythms that aren’t always predictable or linear. And yet, most healthcare approaches are built for a 24/7 system—structured around consistency, not capacity.
We design care that honors your cycle, your season of life, and the natural rhythm of your body. Whether you're in your reproductive years, navigating perimenopause, or working to restore balance after burnout, your healing journey won’t look like a straight line—and it shouldn’t have to.
